Founded in 2000, by violinist and Suzuki pedagogue, Laura Nerenberg, Rideau Falls Violins is a Suzuki violin studio and strings improvisation studio. Laura Nerenberg has extensive Suzuki Violin teacher training, including long-term teacher training with Teri Einfeldt at the Hartt School, in West Hartford, Connecticut. Laura is active in her local Suzuki community as the Ottawa-area representative on the board of the Suzuki Association of Ontario. She is much in demand as a Suzuki Violin and Strings Improvisation clinician in her own province and has also taught and adjudicated in Arusha, Tanzania, Whitehorse, Yukon, New Denver, British Columbia, St. John's, Newfoundland, Boston, Massachusetts, Lyman, New Hampshire and beyond. Creative Ability Development (CAD = Improvisation) forms an integral part of Laura's teaching philosophy: to help each student develop to a high level of artistry.
